Naru is one of my favourite spots for sushi and date night - and strawberry jalepeno margaritas! Romantic red atmosphere, right on the Richard Haynes boardwalk with a view of the beach. Service is excellent and you may even spot a turtle coming out of the water to lay eggs!

Bajans love Chefette! It's like McDonald's but WAY better. Their chicken breast sandwiches and rotis are my favourite, but it can get very busy on the weekend. It's right across from Rockley (aka Accra) beach, and you can order a Banks beer to go with your meal! My go-to place for a quick, inexpensive bite!

It's right across from Rockley (aka Accra) beach, and you can order a Banks beer to go with your meal! My go-to place for a quick, inexpensive bite!

The scenic beach views are perfect for runners, walkers, couples, families, sightseers...basically everyone. Keep in mind you can find a spot along the boardwalk to simply sit and observe.

Where most Bajans do their grocery shopping in the area - then again most of the supermarkets are owned by Massy Stores. Keep in mind you can buy alcohol at the supermarket; there's no separate alcohol store as is the case in some countries (eg Canada).
