Their cafe is excellent for breakfast and lunch ( I often go there for morning coffee & a pastry or their yogurt with pine nuts & berries). Dinner is outstanding Italian food in a beautiful vibe. One of the best restaurants in Brooklyn, winner of a James Beard Award - hard to get tables at but you can just try walking in around 5pm and putting your name down which often works.

Amazing Taiwanese food - really hip spot, great cocktails, and one of my top 3 restaurants. The Win Son Bakery across the street is also fantastic (including for breakfast) and they have many similar items. Fried Chicken Sandwich here is incredible.

Local trendy Bathhouse in the neighborhood - you can book a time online. It's not that big but it's a nice space to go unwind for a few hours and they also have a solid restaurant upstairs.

Take a Ferry Trip to Dumbo from Williamsburg
The ferry is a form of public transport, and taking the ferry down to South Brooklyn on a sunny day is a real treat - continue from Dumbo on to Red Hook and check out Sunny's for Blue Grass, and if you eat meat Hometown BBQ is great, and a slice of Key Lime Pie at Steve's
