if you have time take the 30 minute drive to check out Newport. So many great restaurants (The Black Pearl, The Mooring), great beaches (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and love the Cliff Walk for beautiful views of the ocean and the mansions. If you like history and architecture take a mansion tour (the Breakers, Marble House and Rosecliff are our favorites.)

The ferry to Block Island is only 1.5 miles from the house. Ride your bikes to the ferry and take them over to Block Island. The fast ferry is only 30 minutes from Galilee. Enjoy biking the island (although it is rather hilly), go to the beaches, do some shopping and eat at some tasty restaurants.
