The Little Bear is old western saloon: Swinging saloon doors, brass registers, old wooden bar stools, walls and ceilings with people's names carved into them. You have to be brave to hang out here :) The Little Bear is an Evergreen hallmark. I have a picture of it back in 1924 when it was a dance hall hanging in my main cabin. Come check it out!

Awesome craft beer, music, and food. The restaurant has community seating too, so it's a good way to meet some new friends and locals. Stop by if you're a Vikings fan and there's a game playing. The owner is from Minnesota.

Alderfer / Three Sisters Park East Trailhead

If you're a serious hiker, check out Mt. Evans. It's a 14er, but a pretty manageable one. I also love hiking Mt. Goliath. The views at the top are beautiful and I've seen big horn sheep and mountain goats a few times up there. It's a state park, so it costs some money to get in. If not feeling hiking, you can also drive to the top :)
