An historic pub with a play park and beer garden, tucked down a country lane. We often walk up with friends for a lovely Sunday Roast. The views along the way are stunning. Reasonably priced food and a great place to spend an evening with a pint. Dogs are welcome.

This pub is the old station hotel for the now defunct rail stop in Hallatrow. Lovely food, crazy golf and a great beer garden. The real treasure is the old train carriage that has been converted into a restaurant. On nice days you can get there on foot. Its a gorgeous walk through Greyfield Wood and the fields beyond and dogs are welcome in the pub.

The Connies is great for breakfast and lunch, or just a relaxed coffee or cream tea. Independently owned, they have a varied menu, a selection of locally made gifts, and a small area for little children to play. If you like the book of local walks kept in The Garden Rooms, this is where you can get your own copy!

Parks & Nature

Greyfield Wood is an ancient wood full of interactive treasures and surprises. There is a map with the trails marked just inside the gate, great for runners. The waterfall is beautiful and can be climbed up and splashed about in. There are several swings and dens around the wood put up by locals for playing on. Bring your dogs and your welly boots - it gets muddy!
