If you do not have time for a Ferry ride then we would recommend a ride on the water taxi to West Seattle. You can walk along the water on the other side taking in the great views. 2 hours roundtrip.

Entertainment & Activities
Walk all the way down on Bell street towards the waterfront. Great views of the skyline and water from the top. You can take the steps or elevator down to the waterfront and from there walk along the waterfront to the Olympic sculpture park to the north or the ferry terminal towards the south.

Our last whale watching trip last year was with them and it was great. Seeing whales can be hit or miss. JK's first trip was gray and foggy and since they pointed out a dark blob that looked like a whale you did not even get the customary credit towards a second trip for not seeing one. Not recommended unless weather is nice and you can spend most of one day.

JK is a docent here but only gives tours 3 months in a year. Also a good spot to take a restroom break if you are near the market. The galleries require a ticket.
