This is my favourite place! Their food is so cheap, yet really good. Try the crispy bacon rolls- too much for one person...
The lounge is very relaxing with lots of sofas. Nice 20 minute walk up the hill to get there.Also is the restaurant next door, Scottish cooking except on a Tuesday. My favourite is the venison (deer).

The Queen's summer home. It is a beautiful drive there, the grounds are lovely, I park in the free car park and walk up to Crathie church, then I have a look at John Brown's grave (can give you directions). You can get a bus that takes you right there. Look out for Lochnagar on the way.

The walks are beautiful- try going round Loch Muick, or up Lochnagar. You can go for walks in Glen Tanar, go horse riding,or cycling. Look out for eagles, dippers, ospreys or deer. I have seen all of them this last year.

Amazing. Stunning views, and even if you don't get to the top beautiful scenery. Dangerous in winter though unless you are prepared and have the right gear. Brought to fame by Prince Charles children's book, 'The old man of Lochnagar'.
