This was one of our first stops in Bastrop when house shopping. Billy's has been serving barbecue in Bastrop longer than most restaurants have been here. It's definitely a local favorite, and has been the only BBQ joint to garner such steadfast local loyalty. Billy's is not mediocre by any means and is definitely worth a try. Early lunch time is the best time to get a great plate of brisket and sides.
