Great for a quick coffee! Just grab a Mocha and an Almond Croissant, then cross the street over to the Saint Mary's Church. There are hidden benches to enjoy the sun, the view from Auckland's largest cathedral while birds singing all around you :)

This is a must if you love anything French. Indoor food stalls with seating area. Enjoy delicious coffee with a chocolate croissant or go for the lentil and walnut burger smothered in a cheesy hollandaise sauce. Deli food such as cheeses and cured meats, nuts, sweet treats and of course the famous crepe can be purchased in the outside market. For this amazing experience head down to Parnell and be delighted with the marionette show and french music. Highly recommend this lovely market.

Very nice little café and sweets shop. They have various options for take out and drinks to stay in. They also have pretty small gift bags and self picked chocolate box. Price is moderately high.

Sabato equals quality food supplies. If you want super special olive oil, vinegar or imported pasta, Sabato is the best choice.
Tucked away almost out of sight it has reliable parking. Not a cheap shop, more pricey than Farro Fresh and a little more formal.
Yet, Sabato stocks true quality goods. If you want sherry vinegar this is the place to get it in NZ. The best canned sardines in Auckland but not the place to go to for herring. Good cheese selection. I've always liked this place.

Belonging to the oldest parts of Auckland, this park has been setup long time ago. Beautiful rose garden and the large trees are stunning to spend an afternoon underneath their shades and reading!

This small chapel and the cemetery are a real hidden gem of the area. The piece and quiet of the place, to walk through it and read the old tomb stones - one of the oldest in the whole city! The view to the harbor, Devonport and Rangitoto is great as well!
Some nice benches invite you to have a rest, admire the view or have a small snack while reading a book.

Beautiful greenhouses with pond, sculptures and benches in between them. Winter garden on one side and Summer garden on the other side. You will also find the fern garden between those two. During a sunny day the benches around the pond are very nice place to hang or sit around. The greenhouses house plenty of beautiful and rare plants and flowers.

St Mary's Cathedral Church, also known as St Mary's Church, is the former Cathedral Church of the Anglican Diocese of Auckland. Located in Parnell, it replaced the earlier Old St Mary's. This wooden Gothic Revival church was designed by the prominent Christchurch architect Benjamin Mountfort and completed in 1897.
