They are new, so constantly busy and bustling environment inside. This place is many small places packed into one - kind of like a Street Market but indoors. We recommend the Bacon Brothers' vegan Roxi burger which has eggplant, pulled jackfruit and hashbrown! Super yum.

Arts & Culture

This is one of the biggest Art Galleries/Museums in New Zealand. It is free to visit and they also do great free guided tours for visitors. Wide selection of NZ and Christchurch-based art, and it is right in the central city.

This is a lot smaller than the Christchurch Art Gallery but is also free and is a nice place to go and learn about the history of New Zealand.

This small arcade has many boutique stores - from 2nd hand books to hand made scented candles to flowers and beautiful designer clothes and shoes. We especially love the Tanner Street Bakery here.

Getting Around

This is where almost all buses in Christchurch go to and come from. If you catch the Purple Line back to our street (on the corner of Randolph/Ferry), you will need to come here to board the right bus. It is a quick walk away from many of the central hot spots in Christchurch. The average fare for 1 zone is $4.00 cash.

Parks & Nature

It is especially wonderful this time of year. We highly recommend spending a good hour or so wandering around and smelling the roses. Our favourites are the tropical house and the rainforest paths. The Gardens also crossover into the Hagley park which is very large and includes duck pond and tennis courts.
