It is about 1h 20 minutes scenic drive from Komarno along the river Danube. Make sure to stop by the Gabcikovo dam about 55 minutes en route and we recommend restaurant Bodza also en route or on the way back for a hearty local Hungarian or Slovak meal.

The main restaurant in Komarno, located right on the town square bearing the same name "Klapka" after a general who managed to secure the independence of Komarno. Great to have a meal for lunch or dinner or a drink in the evenings sitting outside and watch people on the square having ice creams.
