This is a carry-out only place that serves delicious bar-b-que. We especially like the ribs and fried fish (yes, I know it's not bar-b-que, but it is good, nonetheless). The sides are terrific: French fries are usually boring, even good ones, but not these. I haven't figured out how they are fried, but they are outstanding, as are the baked beans and the greens. Prices are very reasonable.

For something different, try eating spicy shredded goat with moist, spongy bread substituting for a knife and fork. It is an interesting experience, and the food is tasty and ample. Prices are very moderate. This is, essentially, a carry-out restaurant.

I particularly enjoy the Chihuly sun burst sculpture prominently displayed to be seen on entrance.

It also offers dance, music and drama performances and special events, like its annual compendium of interesting advertisements.
It offers first class drama with first class acting talent, all in an architecturally interest in venue. As part of the Guthrie is the "Sea Change" restaurant, an estimable eatery.

Entertainment & Activities
It shows well-curated second run movies for cheap: Seniors pay $2 per head per movie. The theater, itself, is a well and lovingly maintained art deco relic and is a family run operation. Seating is satisfyingly comfortable.

This is a most attractive stadium, beautifully designed and executed. Since the Twins have started winning again, it is a fine place to while away a couple of hours. It also has a variety of food stands, including a good one by Andrew Zimmern, serving up tasty and expensive food.

I have yet to go inside. It is an interesting structure, appearing, as it does, like a Viking long boat. I generally am not in favor of adding to billionaires' piles of cash.

Shopping
It is a requirement. You'll like it if you like shopping. But you should also take in the aquarium, where you can pet sharks and walk through a plastic donut and watch the sea life swimming over and around you. For kids, there's an amusement park, with actual rides, as well as the Lego store.

The Conservatory is a tranquil semi-tropical oasis, especially in the dead of winter. It is full of plants, many of which you will recognize from your own household. The flowers are glorious and the trees are surprisingly large. It is a wonderful place to sit for a while and contemplate the universe. During the warm months, you should also visit the lovely Japanese garden, another place to quiet your soul.

The flowers are glorious and the trees are surprisingly large. It is a wonderful place to sit for a while and contemplate the universe. During the warm months, you should also visit the lovely Japanese garden, another place to quiet your soul.

This is where Prince hung out. It's interesting that Minnesota has produced two of the most powerful and iconic artists of our age: Prince and Bob Dylan.
