The consignment shop on the main road is always an interesting visit.

This family-friendly beach on Lake Vernon is 5-10 minutes from our farmhouse. There is a playground and some picnic tables. The shallow water entry and long sandy beach makes it ideal for all swimmers. Take our folding chairs and enjoy the lake and beautiful views. It is usually easy to find shade and enjoy a breeze on a hot day.
