Who doesn't love Chick-Fil-A? Closed Sundays. Very busy/popular although the drive through line will move pretty quickly. Try the Buffalo sauce on your sandwich instead of BBQ/Polynesian - it's great.

Parks & Nature
The Park is great. To get there walking take Loomis south to Bryan, right on Bryan, left on Cherokee. Walk over I-20 and past a couple houses and restaurants and you're there. If you're walking don't take Boulevard, the Cherokee route described above is much better. There are athletic fields, tennis courts, large paved walkways for bike-riding/walking, a playground, a pool, lots of trees. On sunday mornings you can visit the Grant Park Farmer's market. Zoo Atlanta makes up most of the southern part of the park.

Everyone seems to love the pandas. Lots of other animals. Recently built amphibian/reptile building called the Scaly Slimy Spectacular. Kids love riding the train+carousel and the petting zoo. There's also a splash fountain.
