Each day, the cafe offers specials and there are a few menu items that have become favorites. Some of my choices lunchtime features include the GRC Free Bird Sandwich, stuffed full of the most moist chicken I've ever eaten and the GRC Tuna Melt made with Skipjack Tuna; aside from a selection of freshly made breads, all sandwiches offer a gluten free bread option. Enjoy locally brewed beer and wine with your meal, too.The Mediterranean Egg Burrito is my favorite for breakfast, and if you prefer, you can have it made over a bed of fresh, organic greens

Otumba Park is around the corner from Lily Pad Cottage, provides visitors with a great, sandy, swimming beach, playground equipment, a sand volleyball court, lighted tennis courts, a picnic pavilion with a barbeque grill and plenty of shade trees for those seeking a little shelter from the sun's rays. Located on West Juniper Street and North Joliet Avenue on the west side of Sturgeon Bay, Otumba is connected to a gorgeous, half-mile, public waterfront walkway that extends from the beach to Sawyer Park at the foot of the historic Steel Bridge.

This feature causes wind whipped waves to break off shore and accelerate towards the Cave Point bluffs. On impact lake spray leaps some 30 feet into the air to dance with the sunlight in one frozen and weightless moment before splattering down onto the rocks below. Above this turbulent sea a stoic cedar stand rises at a pace so slow as to measured in inches a year.

The Sturgeon Bay store needs a day's notice to bring rental bicycles to Sturgeon Bay from the Fish Creek store, you can reserve online. Biking is great in Potawatomi State Park. If you want to bike in Peninsula State Park, you can also reserve a rental, online at the Fish Creek Store. There is a store in Sturgeon Bay; they need a day's notice to bring a bike to Sturgeon Bay from the Fish Creek store. Nor Door rentals are an option if Bay Shore Outfitters is out of rentals.
