State Street is a unique pedestrian street in Madison, where you will see local people of all different ages. It has unique shops, restaurants, bars, and everything else. You'll see local artists performing on the streets occasionally, interesting people walking by as you peer out the window from a bar, coffee shop or as you sit on the patio of a restaurant. The Street is hard to explain to someone who has never been.
