Curse this spot for being so close to the house. Even our dog pulls when we walk by it through the park since they serve what she rates 10/10 pup cups. Lines can get long in the summer but very worth it. Just South of the house along the park. 5 min walk.

McHenry National Park if you'd like a day trip to see some Baltimore history, or just lounge in the grass. If you stand smack in the middle of the Korean War Memorial and speak out loud, you'll get an eerie echo. Great lazy day spot!

Then come back to the house and watch the Baltimore episode of Drunk History on the couch to get some comedic perspective on our city's history.

It starts in Canton at the Water Taxi stand and runs around the entire Harbor. Fancy yourself a long day of walking that crosses Canton, Fell's Point, the National Aquarium, Inner Harbor all the way to Federal Hill? Do it. If you're too tired to walk back just grab a Water Taxi back.
