The views from Lake Cumberland State Park are breathtaking. Highly recommend this State Park for afternoon getaway. They have a full service restaurant that has a buffet style luncheon on certain days. Call in advance to see what's on the menu for the day you are planning a trip to this park. Also, call if you are interested in horse back riding to be sure they offer it on the day you wish to go.

For only $12.00 per adult, which includes salad, various choices of main course meals and desserts, you enjoy great country meal and the best yeast rolls this side of the Mississippi. You can not go wrong if you are on a family budget with a wide variety of choices for everyone's liking. Give them a call to see what they will be serving on their "all you can eat" buffets. They have Rib night; seafood night and more. They also have a website for more information. And you are supporting a non-for-profit children's orphanage for the disabled. Many of older children also work at this restaurant.
