Portlick Millennium Forest
The Meehambee Dolmen is a megalithic portal tomb dating from about 3500 BC located in County Roscommon, Ireland. It was discovered by two local children in the 1960s who unearthed two stone axes. Originally supported on 6 upright portals, 2.3 metres high, the capstone is estimated to weigh twenty-four tonnes.
You would need walking boots and suitable clothing.

The greenway, 42km in total, traces the historic Midlands Great Western Railway track past restored station houses and under stone arched bridges and overhanging trees.. From the River Shannon in Athlone to the Royal Canal in Mullingar, it passes through many areas of unique biodiversity and heritage.
Moby bikes can be rented via the Moby Move App at 12 locations in the town for as little as one euro per hour.

Over 50 species of animals to see, an 1850s cottage, a nature walk and fairy trail, a large outdoor and indoor play area and a soft play toddler area, so there is something for everyone.
