So, this is a cafeteria style restaurant which might put you off --- but don't be fooled! It is a fabulous little restaurant in the heart of the city, located in the Vancouver Art Gallery, and with the bestest outdoor deck anywhere! Most Vancouverites don't know about it.

Stanley Park is within 5 minutes walk of the suite, is one of the largest "rain forests" in an urban setting. Great to walk the seawall, Lost Lagoon, explore the many paths, look for chickadees, racoons, and lots of other wild life. Just don't feed them!

20 minute walk up Robson Street, usually has some interesting shows but the BONUS, in my opinion, is the VAG Cafe which has the BEST outside deck in the city. Food is terrific too!

If you're interested in anthropology and in particular Canadian aboriginal work --- this is definitely worth the trip. Besides, you can always walk around the grounds of the University of BC.
