Fantastic food and service in a lovely restaurant, close to the best pubs in the town. The pots of mussels are great, as is the seafood chowder and seafood casserole but they also do great fish and chips.

This is a workers co-operative that serves great food during the day but often hosts events, gigs, talks, exhibitions, craft fairs etc. They have a tapas night every Friday with local musicians playing a range of music and its BYOB (bring your own bottle or beer)! Definitely worth a visit - if only to try Elena's chocolate brownies!!

A good place to grab lunch before exploring the Entries, where the Society of the United Irishmen was born.

It has a range of murals (that are regularly changed by local artists) with mainly political themes but will also cover environmental / social justice issues or feature famous world figures. This wall is a 5-10 minute walk from the house.
