They do delicious, healthy breakfasts & lunches - a little bit different, well-priced & well worth the wait (there is often a bit of a wait for a table). Located opposite the Broadbeach park across from the beach. P.S. Famous celebrities have been known to eat here.

The BEST Greek food on the coast... but you'll have to book WELL in advance - I mean a week at least! When you book, book the slow cooked lamb in advance (so that you're not disappointed on the night if they've sold out).

This is the coasts only revolving restaurant with 360 degree views of the coast & hinterland. In my opinion, best to go for lunch - that way you actually get to see the beautiful views! Sometimes you can even see whales out to sea! It is a smorgasbord menu - and I have personally, always enjoyed the quality & range of the food offered. It is a fantastic way to enjoy the scenery with friends. It takes approx 1 hour to fully revolve so is great for a long lunch.

It is a smorgasbord menu - and I have personally, always enjoyed the quality & range of the food offered. It is a fantastic way to enjoy the scenery with friends. Parks & Nature
There are two great circuit walks at Springbrook that take approx 2 hours for mild - moderately fit people.
The first is Purlingbrook Falls
The second is Canon Falls
Both have picnic/BBQ facilities located near the start of the trails and both walks take you down into the valley where you walk past waterfalls through sub-tropical rainforest. I recommend that for both trails, you go in a clockwise direction (that way you descend down stairs and ascend up the incline).

Springbrook

A little further to drive (about 90 mins) but well worth it. Located in the Lamington National Park, there are some longer walking trails, but there is one short trail - the treetop walk - that is a fantastic experience and suitable for all different ages & fitness levels. They have great picnic facilities and a spot where you can hand feed the wild King Parrots & Crimson Rosella's.

Within the headland's 27 ha national park you will discover rainforest, eucalypt forest, pandanus groves, tussock grassland, coastal heath, mangroves, creeks, rocky foreshore and beaches. Visitors may glimpse humpback whales breaching in coastal waters in winter & spring. You can also swim at Echo Beach - located at the mouth of the Tallebudgera River. It is only a short walk from Burleigh Beach and from Burleigh town centre, where you can go shopping and/or dine out.

Sightseeing
A 90 min drive through northern NSW - past Mt Warning and some of the most beautiful countryside. Leave early - parking is hard to get and on weekends, driving can be tediously slow into the township. But once you get there, get around on foot. There are lots of great shops & cafes. From the Byron Bay lighthouse, you can do a walk down to Watigo Bay. Being the eastern most part of Australia's coastline, you can often see dolphins, turtles & whales from the lighthouse cliff.
