Yummy little Mexican restaurant. There isn't a ton of cuisine diversity in this area so this is probably the closest you'll get to not American food. I like to get food from here and take it to Fetch brewery down the street and enjoy some good beers.

This place is a little hole in the wall and the only reason I go is for their deep fried asparagus during Michigan asparagus season, which starts in mid-May. So delicious!

This place is wonderful and was much needed when it opened. It is a cafe with lots of drink and food options. It is also a wine bar as well as a book shop. It has everything you need in one place! It's great for relaxing and reading on couches, or getting some work done. They also host local musicians for performances there quite often as well as have authors doing book signings.

This is our favorite breakfast spot in town. They make delicious food and bake their own breads and pastries that you can buy as well. This place is so good I once took a friend visiting from Denmark for breakfast, and during his stay about a month later he drove over 2 hours back to this spot just to bring another friend (he was in love with the stuffed hash browns). Great food, and wonderful people who work there. It's a local favorite that really feels like home.

Fetch is probably where I spend most of my time if I head into town for work or school purposes as they have wifi. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and delicious beer. They don't have food, but they have little snack mixes you can buy, and they also sell the best ice cream bars in the entire world that are from a local business- Ice Box bars I believe (seriously these things are to die for). Since they don't sell food you can bring or order food from other places and relax here with whatever you order. They also have a bunch of games for visitors to use that make for a fun time with a group. They also often have live music on weekends.
