While most people dwell at restaurants and cafes recommended by lonely planet, there is this stall that sells very yummy popiah and yam cake in front of a boutique shop that many tend to overlook.
Popiah is literally the local version of spring roll with radish, peanuts, dried tofu and some seasoning sauce in it.

Jonker Walk is just like the night market of other countries except that the shop houses here are some heritage buildings that make the whole feel of it different from others. Here you can have nice bargain for local souvenirs, listen to live karaoke performed by old folks and enjoy local delicacies.
