We LOVE this place and have been eating here for over 15 years. Delicious comfort food where the Chef usually comes directly to your table to tell you about the specials! The restaurant is BYO and you can grab a bottle from the IGA just around the corner. Highly recommended.

A Canberra institution! Danny has been baking his delicious sour-dough bread for decades and is a well-known for his delicious bread. The bakery becomes a hot spot at Easter as his fruit buns are very much sought after and a secret is he also makes them on Saturday mornings through out the year(shhhh!).

This is one of our favourite walks and there are stunning views of Canberra from the top of the hill. Make sure you have good shoes though as the hill is very steep in places.

A Canberra local treat is a freshly squeezed OJ from the juice man at the markets on a Sunday morning. Open 10am to 4pm on Sundays only. A huge local market filled with local artisans with all sorts of art, clothing, bric-a-brac and food products. Also has a lovely little food court with interesting international meals.

The Mart Deli is my personal favourite (have a chat with Olivier about cheese!) and also Ocean Fresh Seafood (near the exit) has the freshest seafood in Canberra!
