In any other state, this would be considered a national park. Close to the house, about 15 minutes. Great hiking, beautiful scenery, and fun sand dunes. Find the lava tubes and hike down in them.

The other part of Zion National Park. If you are traveling on I-15 north of St. George to Cedar City or Salt Lake City, it is an easy stop. It is basically right off the freeway.

Part of Bryce Canyon, the same hoodoo spires, but from May-October there is a river running by this trail, with a great waterfall. Trail is really easy, and during the summer you can play in the water

The best national park in the USA! Gorgeous and so much to do. Angel's Landing hike is a classic, and the walk up the narrows. I spend a lot of time in Zion, let me know if you need advice.
