Sightseeing
The Courthouse is known for its distinctive architecture and the beautiful mural indoors. I think it also has the single largest bougainvillea I've ever seen. The sunken gardens are fun to gallop around.

Vons is a convenient drive down from the house. I recommend going early in your visit, perhaps the day you arrive. They have most everything and the prices are reasonable.

Trader Joe's is a bit farther away than Vons but they have a better selection for some things. It just annoys me slightly that every Trader Joe's has such a small parking lot. At least this one solved that issue.
