Cute mini-donut shop with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Nice park across the street. Good pizza joint next-door and amazing ice cream place on the other next door :-) Great patio seating at all locations mentioned and access to the centennial trail - grab a few donuts and then go walk them off along the river with a friend.

Spokane is not known for it's bbq - or any of its food if we're honest ;-) but this place does bbq pretty well. Can be a little pricy - but so is everything else these days.

Stop by the Park Bench cafe during the spring or summer for a simple bite to eat or stroll the streets to enjoy all the beautiful craftsman homes in the area. Splash pad and play ground for kids, Duncan Gardens for beauty, duck pond to fall into, lots of grassy areas to picnic on.
