Neighborhoods
Denver is broken down into a few different neighborhoods - each with their own unique personality. You are staying in the Western Highlands, right next door, is 32nd Street - this little nook of the neighborhood is called Highlands Square, and it's full of restaurants and shops to explore. On Sundays during the warmer seasons, there's also a fantastic little Farmer's Market.

Right next door to the Western Highlands, are the Lower Highlands, or LoHi - LoHi is bustling with bars and restaurants, and just over the bridge is access to the city and a nice big park people hang out at during the warmer months. This is also where the flagship REI is and a lovely little river walk alongside it.

This is where the majority of Denver's famous breweries started out, and now comes alive at night - they close off the street so people can wander and play freely and there's often fun events and live music happening.

About 30 minutes outside of Denver, is Evergreen - one of my favorite little towns with heaps of beautiful hikes to explore. In the warmer months you can SUP board on Evergreen Lake, or you'll see folks ice fishing in the winter months.

Also about 30 minutes outside of Denver - Boulder is a beautiful place to hike (the Flatirons are a must see), or wander down Pearl Street for great shopping and restaurants. Boulder has its own hub of breweries to explore, and it is a college town so there’s always something happening here!
