Chankanaab

A natural state reserve with over 1,000 hectares filled with a wide variety of flora, fauna and lagoon systems. Its the ideal place for nature lovers. With its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and numerous sea fan gardens that extend through out the reef.
Entering Punta Sur is to transport yourself to a natural paradise filled with diversity of birds and animals, many of which are endemic to the island. There is also a scenic tower to observe crocodiles in their natural habitat and a museum light house with the most spectacular view.

Punta Sur Strand

The archaeological site of “San Gervasio” is the most important and well-studied prehispanic site of all the documented settlements on Cozumel Island. It is named after its location in the former “San Gervasio” ranch.

El Cielo Cozumel is a sandbank located 800 meters from the coast of Cozumel, to reach it it is necessary to go by boat or catamaran, these can be taken in the Chankanaab park, on the pier of the Colombia lagoon and Palancar beach. The beach has this name due to the number of starfish that you can see in shallow waters, the beauty of the turquoise blue water seems to be confused with the "Sky" and you can also swim and snorkel.
This marine paradise is not only inhabited by echinoderms, you can also see hundreds of colorful fish, spot manta rays, and even sea turtles; the birds that come to the beach also enrich the ecosystem.
