Jalan Raya UluwatuThe place is a little bit out of way with other tourist spots in Bali so it is best if you go there with a guide-driver or you can just rent your own mode of transportation. It's about 20-minute ride south of Kuta.

Their operator's guide will pick you up from your hotel in South Bali at approx. 16.30 in the afternoon and drive to the beautiful Uluwatu Temple, which is perched 30 meters above the cliff facing the Indian Ocean, offering dramatic view of the surrounding areas. At 6:00 PM, the Kecak Dance performance begins on a nearby stage with the setting sun as the background. Accompanied by the chanting of 50 male performers, the dance tells the love story of Rama and Shinta. They will transfer back to your hotel after the performance.

Since 2000, Jatiluwih has become a tourist destination, especially those who like natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy the fresh atmosphere, because throughout the day the air in Jatiluwih is never hot above 20 degrees Celsius.

Gates of Heaven at Pura Lempuyang (Pura Luhur Lempuyang Bali), is also called ‘The Temple of Thousand Steps’ is located at the summit of Belibis Hill (Mount Lempuyang), 1.058 meters above sea level, northeast of Mount Agung, Abang District, Karangasem Regency
It is not documented when Lempuyang Temple was exactly built. Legends say that when mother earth was only 70 years old, the island of Bali was unstable and earthquakes happened daily. The god Pacupati, who resides in Mount Sumeru saw this condition and asked his three children to stabilize Bali. He sent Hyang Gni Jaya, Hyang Putra Jaya and Dewi Danu to Bali to reside in three different places; Dewi Danu on Mount Batur, Hyang Putra Jaya on Mount Agung, and Hyang Gni Jaya in Lempuyang Luhur Temple.

The gates are actually the entrance to a golf course, but still… it’s a nice spot for a pic if you’re way up in the north of the island.
