Portland Pie makes great pizza dough and sells it at all the Hannaford grocery stores, which we use to make our pizza at home.

Great deli. Don’t see something you like just tell them what you want and they will build it for you off the grill like a hamburger or vegan or gluten free. They are super accommodating and kind. Worth a visit.

Boho’s as it is affectionately called is near the Hannaford grocery store and railroad station. They have expanded their menu to breakfast and lunch as well as smoothies. Of course coffee and tea. This is close to my office so I frequent it the most of all coffee shops. Not as Hipster as Little Dog or Local as Dog Bar Jim but still a favorite. Nice couches and place to play a game.

This is an amazing gem of a place. World renowned chef and restaurateur in our little town of Brunswick. A little on the pricey side so I would try lunch first and then move on to dinner if looking for a more serious investment in your stomach. Really good!!!

With the owner’s incredible knowledge of wine, you can just tell her what you are making for the meal and what your price point is, and she will offer some suggestions. Hint: The owner’s name is not Tess (I think that was her mother). This is my secret gem for wine so shhhhhh!! This is our secret.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Warning you are paying a premium for their service and knowledge but you only have one set of feet for your lifetime. Pamper them. Tough to get out of the store for under $150.

I have actually never been inside and there is the owner’s BMW parked out front almost every day. You will see it on your walk from the apartment down Maine Street.

Secluded sandy beach on Bailey Island. Locals know it and now so do you. Pass over the Cobb stone bridge and turn left on Robinhood Rd. Just two or three parking spaces (on the right) and a bit of a walk left down Cedar Beach Rd until it dead ends. Stay to the right at the dead end for the public area. You can see the Cobb stone bridge from the beach.

Secluded sandy beach on Bailey Island. Locals know it and now so do you. Pass over the Cobb stone bridge and turn left on Robinhood Rd. They have a snack shack during the summer at the pier on Cundy's Harbor and a little souvenier/antique shop. Bring Your Own Beverage (BYOB) and enjoy some good food on picnic benches over looking the harbor.

Watch the fisherman come in with their daily catch while soaking up the sunshine from this sandy, pebbled coastline, great for beachcombing, swimming, and launching a kayak. They used to have a tire swing on a tree in the cove but the limb fell off.

Land’s End is a beautiful coastal spot truly at the Land’s End on one othe thousands of fingers/inlets of the coast of Maine.
