Five Mile Recreation Area has picnic tables and a swimming, playing in Big Chico Creek, or general outdoor fun. There are many large Sycamore and Valley Oak trees provide shade, and restrooms. There is a little bridge across Big Chico Creek for pedestrians to walk on. Five Mile is a close walk from Hooker Oak Park.
