It is a little difficult to get here, but worth the visit. To get to Caladesi Island State Park, you can take a ferry from Honeymoon Island or rent a kayak on the Dunedin Causeway and paddle across.

Located on the Pinellas Bike Trail just under 2 miles from the house (about a 10 minute bike ride north towards Tarpon Springs). Kids will enjoy a covered playground, boardwalks, nature trails, butterfly garden, pier, and a 35-foot observation tower for a scenic view of the Gulf of Mexico.

I provide bikes!
The Pinellas Bike Trail stretches from Tarpon Springs to downtown St. Pete's. The Pinellas Bike Trail is one of my family’s favorite things to do when we come to Palm Harbor. We like to split our biking into two days. The first day we bike south to Dunedin which is about 6 miles from the house one way. The second day we bike North to Tarpon Springs which is about 5 miles one way. To get to the Pinellas Bike Trail from the house, simply bike out of the subdivision all the way to the trail: it is about a half mile away. The hardest part is crossing Alt 19 (aka Palm Harbor Blvd). One brewer
