The Crab Trap is an excellent spot for great seafood. The atmosphere is upscale but not stuffy. The food is consistent and a great value for the price. During the week, they run Happy Hour specials at the bar…some nights they even offer $1 oysters. Try the Cape May Salts…they’re excellent!

If you love wings, a stop at Charlie’s is a must…that’s what they’re famous for! This is a casual neighborhood restaurant with great bar food. Please note that this establishment is cash only…no credit cards are accepted. They do have an ATM inside and there are also two Wawas nearby that have ATMs.

Piccini’s has excellent brick oven pizza and a large variety of pizzas. My favorite is the Pomadoro Romano! If you’re in the mood for seafood, the Fresh Jumbo Gulf Shrimp (fra diavolo) is also delicious!

Manco & Manco is by far the most popular spot in Ocean City for pizza….they’ve been around for years and years. They have several locations, but their 9th Street location is the only one open year-round. This is a “must have” during your stay here!

If you are looking for a real gem of a taco joint, this is your place. It’s a quaint hole in the wall kind of place (the best kind!). There are only a few tables inside, and a couple of outdoor tables set up outside. The owner is a great guy…a real surfer dude…and will close the place early if the waves are good lol (not kidding). I’ve never been there when it hasn’t been packed, and if he’s too busy, he won’t answer the phone to take your take-out order. Don’t let that deter you! Either go there to eat at the “off hours” or if you’re ordering take-out and he doesn’t answer his phone, drive over and place your order. They’re quick with preparing your food. You won’t regret it! My favorite are the Baja fish tacos…DELICIOUS!

If you go during the summer months, make sure to get their signature blueberry pie for dessert…I’m not even a pie person and it was OUTSTANDING! Difficult to get reservations, so book far in advance. Mid week and later in the evening times are much easier to get.
