Take a road trip to Burleigh Falls! It's north of the city and is about a 30 minute drive from the suite (which is located in the north end of the city). It's a great place to go swimming or a short walk to take in the scenery. The trail isn't incredibly long so I would recommend going if you plan to go swimming as well.

Take a walk through the Peterborough Farmer's Market on Saturday Mornings to pick up some fresh berries! It is located in front of Peterborough square (you will see it if you drive down George Street).
Arts and crafts, prepared food and fresh local food straight from farm to you. This is a relaxing experience and a great way to start the day. They are open until 1 pm.

I often will grab pick-up, then drive to Crary Park and have lunch by the water at one of the picnic tables there. This is a locally owned deli and their sandwiches are out of this world! It is located downtown on hunter street (less than 10 min drive from the suite). Parking available and they do have an outdoor patio as well.
