When the water is high enough you can even drive down by the Water treatment plant and park and float down the river to the Hwy. 3 bridge (usually takes around 2-2.5 hours). Just make sure you have two vehicles to do this.
There is also a rocky beach you can access to hang out at.

Try the scooters
City transit isn't the greatest in Lethbridge, however there is a bus system and Uber. We recently got scooters however which are super fun and an easy way to get around town.

Parking around town is usually free and there's a lot of it. Just downtown on week days you need to pay but it's still relatively cheap.
