This is one of our favorite coffee & bakeries. The owner is German and you can taste it in all of the food provided. It's open from 7am to 3pm Monday through Saturday. They close for two weeks in July to take family vacations. Great place! Great people!

This place is a local hangout for breakfast and lunch. The staff are very down-to-earth and everyone likes the atmosphere and food. Breakfasts are well priced and a goodly amount. There are tons of eating establishments in St Petersburg, but this one is close and good.

This is a bit further from our house, but one we frequently go to. It's always busy, great staff and wonderful food. The Skillet breakfasts are one of my favorite, but Walt loves their Sausage Biscuits and Gravy or their Breakfast Burritos. One of my favorite lunches here is the Chicken Quesadillas....AMAZING!

Sightseeing
This is one of our favorite places to relax and enjoy the view. If you take the road all the way to the point, there's a canoe/kayak launch and a place to sit on the benches and enjoy the view of the water. We often see dolphins and fish jumping in the intercostal and very friendly people to talk to. Great place to read, eat a picnic lunch and go for walks.

You could stay all day if you can find parking! Lots of shops, plenty to see and do. Great restaurants and small food vendors. Just under the drawbridge is a walkway to the beach where you can rent a cabana and lounge in the sun.
