The North Bay of Scarborough is wonderful for a day out. With plenty of beach to play on, lovely cafe's and bars and activities such as surfing, paddleboarding and mini golf. It is just a few minutes walk from town.

South bay is a very traditional seaside attraction with amusements, donkey rides, icecream, fish and chips and a wonderful beach. It is just 15 minutes walk from Seaside Hideaway. With lots of wonderful bars and restaurants, shops and seafood shacks selling loacal shellfish. On the South bay beach is the harbour and lighthouse with boat rides out to sea. You can frequently spot dolphins and seals.

In 2015 our Owner Tamra took on a rather quiet, run down café. Why? Because she had experienced a great café as a child and wanted to resurrect it to its glory years.
After running the business for 6 months Tamra decided to give the place much needed refurbishment, and what a job she did! The locals couldn’t believe it was the same place.
