I lived in New Orleans for a spell and this restaurant is straight out of that city...best food in town hands down. Chef Donte Shaw is experimental and artistic.

Its a tie between Bantam and roselily for my favorite South Bend restaurants. Pricey and you may need reservations...its a meal like no other! A seasonal exquisite meat-based menu and the *best* vegetarian/vegan menu...so many options.

Such a gem to have this museum right down the street! A regular rotation of exhibitions, and a terrific permanent collection that includes Andy Warhol, Ed Paschke, Jamea Richmond-Edwards, and Yolanda Lopez!

Great for kids
GREAT place for dogs and kids! A large playground, ice skating in the winter, yoga in the mornings, music on the weekends...a relaxing and fun spot for families.

Walk north on Riverside Dr. through the Rose Garden; take a right onto 933 and cross bridge over the St. Joe River. Take a right and walk uphill...you'll see the Riverwalk as you approach the stop sign at Niles Ave. Take a right and you'll head south down the East Bank Trail, passing a dog park! Take a left and you'll head north, towards Angela Blvd. (where you can take a right and walk towards Notre Dame...or continue walking north to Saint Mary's College).
