Food Scene
Head down to Uncle Wolfie's for a quintessential Milwaukee experience! In the Historic Brewers Hill neighborhood, this local favorite has what you need to get your day started right! Wolfgang & his wife Whitney have beautifully restored this building and it has one of the best views of the city. We recommend the Wolfundito and a Groggy Mick to wash it down, but you truly can't go wrong with this menu. If caffeine is what you need they've got you covered with a full espresso bar and some of the best baristas in town.
If you find yourself with a wait time (it's worth it!) order up a beverage at the bar and be sure to check out the back shop, Orange & Blue Company, created by Whitney.
I would not consider this "fast dining", everything is made fresh so if you're on a tight timeline keep this in mind. Large groups may have trouble with wait times on weekends.
Wolfie's is a place to relax and be in the moment with your friends or family. We hope you love it as much as we do - you may even be greeted by Wolfie himself when you walk in!

The "wings" of the building open when the building opens for the day, opens & closes at noon, and finally closes again when the museum shuts down for the night. You can catch a spectacular view of this happening along its public skywalk!

There is a playground on site for kiddos, live music, smiling faces and beautiful scenery to take in. Highly recommend!

2nd place winner of the 2019 USA Today's Best New Brewery Contest is Eagle Park Brewing - featuring unique sours, slushy and milkshake beers (don't knock it till you try it!) along with lagers and pale ales. Don't worry if you come hungry, they have a delicious menu to pair with your beer! Their patio is open when the weather is nice.
Eagle Park Brewing is tucked away between Brady Street and the Milwaukee River on the corner of Hamilton and S Water street, a very walkable spot, though there is a parking lot and street parking as well.

Formerly known as Alterra, the beans are roasted at the RiverWest neighborhood cafe and going there for the smells alone is worth it. Arguably more popular for the view is the Lakefront location, listed here. Food is served including sandwiches, bowls and breakfast served all day. My personal favorites are the southwest or veggie pesto burrito and an iced Sportea. The Blue Healer whole bean mix is my favorite blend of their coffee and is included for our guests to enjoy at the BNB! Colectivo recently expanded into the Chicago area, but we love them anyway! 😉
