Hands down the best fine dining in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area. Family ran intimate restaurants with a menu that is to die for. Seasonal menu that is always changing. Locally sourced ingredients, beer and wine. Absolutely our favorite place to go when celebrating something special. A little on the outskirts of town but 100 percent worth the drive.

No trip to Nevada City is complete with out visiting the Yuba River. Edwards crossing is a local favorite and will never disappoint. One of the best swimming holes in Nevada County. Show up early and park before the bridge because this place can get packed on the weekends. Remember to always respect the river and always pack out what you pack in. Please keep the river beautiful and trash free.

Amazing views of rock outcropping and trails galore. Under the bridge is a perfect spot for the family, or if your feeling risqué hike to the nude beach in the back(15-20 min).

Absolutely stunning lake! 12 min drive from the house. Smaller lake that does allow motor boats. This lake looks like a mini Lake Tahoe surrounded by pines on all sides.
