Hilltop is a local favorite. The main entrance is through a giant wooden beer aging vat from the Stevens Point Brewery. Open for lunch and dinner, they serve an assortment of sandwiches, burgers, steaks and a daily fish fry. Try the cheese curds and the Mitchelloni with a local craft beer or a mug of Point Root Beer.

Our favorite for a Friday fish fry. We highly recommend the Italian Fries with mozzarella, you may want to order an extra side of their homemade marinara. They have a large display of NHL star Joe Pavelski memorabilia. The outdoor patio is great when the weather is warm. They do get busy on Friday nights so it is best to go early.

Belt’s is a Stevens Point icon. It is open from March to October. People will camp outside the night before their opening to be first in line! Don’t order a large cone on a hot day unless you are very fast at eating! Our favorites are the flurries! I love the one with homemade peanut butter cups!
