One of our favourite places - nothing particularly fancy but a great place for a walk in the woods. Our kids love walking around, finding dens, playing with sticks, watching the swans and squirrels. Oh and free!

This is your manicured garden. Stunning gardens filled with tropical plants - and you walk down the hill to a private beach. And at the beach is an icecream shop. Cafe onsite, and they have an outdoor auditorium for theatre shows often too. Just lovely - if it is a good day, pack your bathers as the water at the beach is lush.

St Ives is stunning - there is no doubt about that. About 4 different beaches to choose from, great restaurants - just beautiful. And if you haven't been then you might want to add it. The only advice I would give is choose your day - go early, or go for dinner Maybe not pick a stunning beach day.

Kayaking and I think SUP tours - they are a local family in St Agnes - they do both the north coast (when the weather allows) and down on the helford river.

If you haven't heard of it - this is I think Corwall's main attraction. It is a great day out and I think they are still doing timed entry - which helps alleviate the queues. It is lovely - they also do a summer sessions of live gigs and event for check out their website for whats on.

Our beautiful beach - with a wonderfully big tide. Great surf (but has often got a dangerous rip - so be wary and listen to the lifeguards), great rockpools. Easy parking if you are early - especially if it is going to be a good beach day or in summer holidays.

Not your usual cafe or restaurant but worth a visit. They do 2 delicious dishes a day - when they run out they run out. Like them on social media as they often do great pop up events - tables on beaches or cliff tops. Highly recommended.

One of our lovely pubs - massive outdoor deck, great sunday roast lunches. There is also a kids play park right next to the pub - what's not to love about that!

Perched on the cliff at Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes - lovely small restaurant. They need to close over winter as the sea pounds them - that's how close the water gets when it is high tide.

I might be a bit bias as this is our friend's cafe - but highly recommend. Freshly baked goods, and great coffee on the beautiful beach of Godrevy. It is a national trust carpark that gets super busy - worth it though so go early.

I have to admit I have only eaten here once - but it was gorgeous. Beautiful rustic gastropub - is very popular, and quite a drive (past St Ives) so about 45 min. In beautiful rugged West Cornwall.
