A gem in the town center. You can’t really go wrong with their menu but the red lentil enchiladas and black bean quesadillas are favorites. Also, the deserts are great and if they have it, the praline carrot cake is amazing.

A great spot for a dip on a warm day! It's great to sit or lay down on the small waterfall. Be careful the rocks are slippery. Usually the swimming area is a gentle pool, but the current can get strong after a heavy rain.
To get there, walk down Tannery Brook Rd away from Tinker St., make a left on Millstream Rd. (right after the second bridge), then walk 3 to 4 minutes and the swimming hole will be on the left. There are logs laid down on the left side of the road to block cars from parking which mark the entry down to the swimming spot.

Comeau Trail
Comeau TrailWe walk or jog this trail at least a few times a week. There are a few places to walk but the main loop run alongside the Saw Kill creek most is the way. There terrain is rocky and rooty, and gets wet and mushy in parts after heavy rains.

Do it on a clear day, morning or afternoon. The hike features a fire tower with incredibly rewarding views at the top and cool surprise along the way. Its more of a gravel road than a trail, but keeps a steady and steep incline most of the way. If your not a fast hiker, plan for at least a half day to allow some sightseeing time as well. Its an out and back hike, so if you go for the sunset, make sure to bring a headlamp / flashlight for the way down.

A challenging out and back hike that transitions from a steep ascent to a peaceful stretch along the top "plateau." Its part of the infamous "Devil's Path," with about 2,000-ft of elevation gain. Might be my favorite hike in the Catskills.
There are a few ways in from the North and South at the end of Mink Hollow Road. For the most direct way to the trail and an about 7.5 miles round trip hike, put "Eastern Devils Path - Mink Hollow Parking" into Google. Let me know if you have any questions about this hike!
