It’s a lovely walk either up over the top of Mount Edgcumbe grounds through the deer park or through the woods and gardens with regular glimpses of the sea and Plymouth Sound.
There’s a beautiful Camellia Trail when in season too.

This is a lovely beach just outside Crafthole and once down the lane to get to it, there are a number of steps to get down onto the beach.
There is a beach cafe at the top (not got a great reputation unfortunately!) but the beach itself is nice to walk along and if you go around the corner at the end, there is a smaller sandy bay too.

Fantastic beach at low tide with wide open sands and interesting rock formations on the cliffs.
Park at the top and take the path down (it’s steep in some places) then treat yourself after the climb back up to a drink from the red snacks van that is often parked up in the lay-by.

Antony House is a beautiful National Trust property just outside Torpoint.
It has lovely grounds and gardens that you can walk around plus you can go into the house and see the traditional rooms and furniture.
There is also a tea room and plenty of parking.

Home to a stunning collection of Grade 1 listed properties, the yard has converted previously used Victualling buildings into a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and accommodation.
It has its own marina and a lovely artistic community which holds a range of events throughout the year.
You can either catch the Cremyl Ferry (foot passengers only) from Mount Edgcumbe or you can drive around and park in the Pay & Display car park on site.
