If you are staying with us for a week in the summer and you have kids, Green Chimney's (around the corner from here) has an amazing summer camp called Hillside with tons of outdoor activities on the farm. They also have events through the yea like the birds of Prey show in June. It's also a beautiful farm.

While you're in Newburgh eating tacos on the Hudson River and vintage shopping, this is another great treasure where Reggie Young a designer turned salvager sells amazing and rare finds from old brownstones and mansions that have been gutted across New York. One of my fave spots for many home decor finds. ummm... I think he ships too!

City/town information
Pawling is a great little town about 15 minutes north of Brewster. It is quaint with local shops and cafe's... a nice way to spend the day strolling. It's also near Thunder Ridge Ski Mountain and one of the restaurants that I recommend.

Brewster hamlet has a nice train station and is close to Brewster Barn air BnB. Mostly the area is rural and very scenic/pretty and most shopping/activities are in surrounding towns that are very close.
