Bike riding, trail running, river floating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming. This is a 77 mile trail that follows the Greenbrier Trail, the trailhead is at Cass, but there are several access points close to Wildwood. We suggest accessing this trail near Clover Lick.

Green Bank Observatory offers a free hands-on science center, its small but fun. We highly recommend taking the paid, but inexpensive, tour of the telescopes for insight about the radio quiet zone and what makes this rural town in the middle of nowhere the highest concentration of PhDs per square mile in the state! This is one of our favorite places to visit!

This is a small but good, solid hospital that served our family well while we lived in the are. If there's something they are not set-up for they will quickly transfer you to a larger facility. Call 911 for an emergency or (304) 799-7400 to reach the hospital directly. Emergency room open 24/7. This is a 15-20 minute drive from Wildwood.
