Perhaps the longest destination hike on the property, the trail begins on a jeep trail and then meanders through dense forest cover. The end of the trail is located at the base of a cascading waterfall that begins just below the Upper Shamokin Falls Trail.
DIRECTIONS: From Rt. 151 in Nellysford, take a left onto Rt. 751 (Old Stoney Creek Road), trail begins at the end of the road at gate.

This three-mile hike is a favorite among hikers and has a view of the Shenandoah Valley. This trail has an array of access points and varying hike lengths. There are numerous Greenstone rock ledges that provide hikers with spectacular views of the south & Shenandoah Valley. The trail follows the northwest border of Wintergreen and is located on what used to be the actual Appalachian Trail. South of Laurel Springs Dr. is closed in winter.
