Quaint and charming, one of the reasons we fell in love with Cape Charles. The staff are characters as much as the place is and the coffee and food is good.

The 4th of July annual parade
All the locals and then some, tractors and golf buggies decked out with all Americana a fun family time, there are vendors lining the street near the beach, and the town will be popping! With fireworks to finish the day.

We don't drop a ball, we slowly drop a decked out crab pot from a crane in the street/park all the fun and festivities (depends on town's plans), grab some friends and drinks, and enjoy the fireworks too.

Festive Fridays in Cape Charles - December
Every Friday leading up to Christmas Cape Charles looks like a story book town. Santa is around and there's horses and carriages trotting down the street with twinkling lights. All the shops are open a little later they all have special little treats, and events and there is often live entertainment till 9pm Christmas movies in the old theatre at 7pm.
